Additionally, more recently, when adjusting some harness involving gnomeball, we delivered a message into the RS3 personnel to check that they'd fixed it into their match, and they responded that I'd really done, in about 2012, and forgotten all about it. So there is overlap, but it's relatively rare. However, we do battle with legacy systems sometimes, resulting in the occasional rewrite - I rewrote the RuneScape Gold   Slayer assignment code around 2014-5, which makes it considerably easier to plug in a number of the updates players wanted, and this was well worthwhile, but players needed to admit it took some time and had a few knock-on consequences on task chances.

I have a memory in my brain that is so eccentric, I'm not sure whether or not it really occurred. A thousand or so years ago, back in Runescape Classic, when drop parties were held at the upstairs of this Varrock Museum, I recall a period several months prior to RS2 was declared, when a Jagex Mod walked to the celebration from the opposite side of the wall (which was all black back in these days), also told us about RS2 and the sort of upgrades which were planned for it until it was made public knowledge.

This memory is vivid in my head, but I don't have any idea if it really happened. I doubt the Jagex Mod involved nevertheless works for the company (after all, we're talking about 17 or so years ago), but does that seem like something that might have really occurred, or am I just a crazy person who deluded myself into a false memory? I could well imagine some employees from that era doing this even to hype excitement up for the forthcoming launch. But I'm afraid I didn't do the job here myself at the time, and I don't know who it'd have been specifically. Maybe Paul Gower - teleport players to dance after RS2 together with the knights, and sometimes he was known to hang out occasionally launched.

Can you guys discuss where OSRS lies in the portfolio of Jagex? Target marketplace,% of earnings, etc? I love the match itself, but I find myself fascinated with all the real-world facets of it (and how the game itself mimics the actual world market - so cool!). Additionally, a game related question: can it be feasible for me to OSRS to one-way port my accounts? I would really like not to lose years of work. I am afraid we won't discuss ike financials. We are a well-respected and well-supported part of Jagex though. It's not possible I am frightened, and even if it was I'm not sure we would want to buy osrs gp do it. I would personally rather not let RS3 XP (using their rates and actions ) to bypass the OSRS grind.
