With the emergence of New Nike Sneakers, Nike's "Space Hippie" series gradually faded out of people's sight. Although the colorways have continued to appear since then, none have had the same response as the original four. In 2022, however, that could change as the brand is making significant design changes to the Space Hippie 04. Here, the revamped sneaker makes its "Three Whites" debut, preferring to let its many tweaks do the talking. While just as sustainable as the original building, the call for recycled components in the building is much lower. Still, debris is visible on the sole; they're just less noticeable beneath the smooth, slightly speckled midsole. As for the upper, the same principles apply, from the Swoosh to the new Flat Lace shade in light neutral.
Before the end of 2021, Nike is starting to roll out New Nike Sneakers Air Max 90 colorways that add color to the shoe's silhouette, from the new "Sprung" theme to the leopard print. While the year of the silhouette hasn't had a smooth start so far, it seems to be getting more and more every day. Here, the Air Max 90 has appeared in another GR colorway, this one lacking the recent Snowflake reveal. Instead, the pair visually celebrates the upcoming spring and summer with bright oranges and reds through goggles and tools. Elsewhere, the rest of the building relies on the usual neutral colours, with white and grey forming most of the base. Black will also make an appearance, although it's relegated to the Swoosh and its companion brand.
With the Swoosh certainly gearing up for the New Nike Sneakers latest Nike Air Max plans, it continues to build on the Air Max Pre-Day with striking styles, a relatively new silhouette rooted in decades-old designs. She ditched the vibrant orange, pink and purple tones of previous styles and kept it "simple" in her latest outfit, wearing shades of light grey and blue. The quilted nylon base sits beneath the standard suede panels that appear on the forefoot, tongue and heel, both components dressed in different blue flavors. Dull neon green enters the blend around the collar, missing an opportunity to animate the big Air Max unit underfoot. The outsole, which is accompanied by foam cushioning and a waffle pattern, opts for an "old" aesthetic, further reminiscent of Nike running models from decades ago.
