Nike is surely going crazy with the Nike Dunk silhouette for later this year and next year. While many releases are kept limited and scarce, fans aren’t complaining about all the new colorways surfacing.Nike Dunk Low SE Free 99 - Black’ applies mismatched color blocking to the vintage hoops shoe turned streetwear staple. This Pack will feature two separate colorways that will take inspiration from the “What The” theme which showcases a mix-matched left and right pair for extra flair.Both the left and right shoe feature a black leather base on the upper, supported by a crisp white midsole and pale orange rubber outsole.Both editions look to arrive in Men and GS sizing for a nice pair of kicks for the family.While the overlays on each shoe are arranged in asymmetrical fashion, they draw from the pastel palette of powder blue, pink, yellow and line green hues. One opts for Black/DkChol which will likely feature the silhouette with a black upper and dark brown Nike branding with an arrangement of different colors on the overlays which will differ from the left and right pair. The custom sockliner displays ‘Free.99’ price stickers.The other rendition will then call for White/LtChoc which is expected to be a white leather base with Light brown Nike branding and different shades painting the overlays in “What The” fashion.
Sneakerheads2020 has been playing with different prints and materials for the summer and now is set to combine both on this newest Air Max 90.With its vibrant pastels and unrelenting use of texture, the colorway takes the crown as the boldest of the season bar none.Nike Air Max 90 Featuring an upper full of different materials, the sneaker is covered in mesh, leather, suede, and even corduroy.The energy picks up very quickly, as even the smaller fixtures bear vivid colors of their own. Along with the unique combination of materials, the sneaker features a variety of different colors and prints. A red print is used on the toes while the popular black and white houndstooth cover the ankles and blue paisley makes up the tongues.For instance, the Air Unit is surrounded by mustard yellow molds, while the mudguard just above contrasts in a light shade of pink. Stacking on top of the base is a sail leather overlay system that shares time with yellow suede Nike swoosh logos and a pink corduroy overlay across the sides. And while the midsole and quarter may balance in off-white, it’s heavily overshadowed by the shirting-inspired materials that dress the toe, tongue, and collar.To complete the design, a sail rubber midsole and golden yellow Air Max unit are placed at the bottoms.
2020 Air Jordans will be expanding his Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low lineup next year with a brand new “University Gold” iteration.There is a catch, though: Pairs are expected to release exclusively at Virgil’s ICA Boston exhibit.Besides the Jordan 1, the Air Force 1 Low is probably the fan-favorite out of Virgil’s Off-White x Nike collection. There’s are also two expected colorways to be released; one pictured like our mock-up above and below, the other in all-yellow with a black Swoosh.With multiple colorways already off of his to-do list, from a black, white, volt, and even the coveted MCA blue, the fashion guru will be opting for a University Gold theme next.Considering the Uni Blue pair dropped at Chicago’s MCA in the same fashion, it appears that yet again we’ll be forced to fork out several stacks on the aftermarket to secure a pair.This new iteration is set to release in 2021 and will feature the usual all-leather build. While of course, no leaked images have surfaced, you can expect the University Gold color to shine throughout the silhouette on the leather upper, tongue, midsole, and rubber outsole.There is some good news, though, with yesterday’s announcement that Virgil and Nike will revisit their multi-pair collaborative capsule, with the OFF-WHITE x Nike “The 20” collection expecting to see a release later this year as a pretty hefty consolation prize.Expect a different colored Nike Swoosh with Off-White branding on the inner side paneling complemented with the iconic zip-tie on the laces.
