Gear carries more but we don't know how this gear will operate in NG or even how much can be taken with PSO2 Meseta us. Is the hauled over equipment actually going to be good (and valuable)? Can it be temporary equipment to give OG gamers a head start? Meseta won't transfer. Hopefully this means they will possibly rebalance the mad meseta profits but that is associated with our progression as well. I understand there are plenty of players that prefer to play the market. What exactly does this mean to all those gamers? If the player economy is becoming a reset, what value does our carried over gear grip? This is a pretty big bombshell to drop for the NA servers with no further info about how NG will affect us considering we are still new.

It's more so the risk that we are playing for nothing right now. This may not only be a reboot of equipment, but a good deal of what we earned. There's also the chance PSO2 may remain the main game. All in all, I hope we get more information sooner instead of later. I will concur PSO2 is a mess in terms of economy. But I'd put a good deal of blame on the fact nothing is very valuable (besides old scratch items) and the high meseta gains. Too much meseta is pumped into the game and not enough is taken out. The reality is certain players are always going to hold the wealth in matches like these. While most players are conducting assignment, these gamers are operating the market. Their behavior will not change with a new game. Whether players missed the launching will not change this. There is really nothing that has been offered at launch that will affect new players as the game always devalues old loot with fresh content.

It is dependent upon the number of classes, how much content, and what the level cap will be in NGS. PSO2 could be just the solution to the lack of all classes or endgame content until sufficient gets made. We really don't know until we get more information. I am guessing is that they will eventually phase original Buy PSO2 Meseta slowly or NGS will get far more updates than OG PSO2. The gears will be tweaked and look possibly altered though can you truly bring it along? Lets be real, it's likely to be a WoW new growth scenario where I hope to swap it all out after completing a couple expeditions.
